Der Sommer 1983 in Spanien war heiss und schwül. Zusammen mit einem Freund,
einem begnadeten Grafiker aus Bern, hatte ich eine Finca mit Pool gemietet. Die Idee war,
im Touristensumpf, wo er am hässlichsten war, atmosphärisch/symbolische Bilder zu
inszenieren. Die Modelle hatte ich dabei. In erster Linie D. meine damalige Freundin,
eine Tänzerin, T. mein Freund und dessen Sohn, sowie die Freundin von T. mit Tochter.
Nicht nur die Atmosphäre im Ort war lasziv, erotisch geladen. Auch im Haus funkte und tobte es ununterbrochen. Das kreative Umfeld war ideal.
The result was a unique portfolio with 6 pictures. Rolf Eichenberger made only 2 vintage prints of 50x70cm (circa 20:28 inches)of each picture, signed R.E./83. Only one complete portfolio still exists. It is an absolute key work of the postmodern "scenic people photography" which was now about to follow.
Es entstand ein traumhaftes Portfolio mit sechs Farb-Sujets . Pro Sujet wurden nur 2 Vintage-Abzüge 50 x 70cm erstellt. An Ausstellungen wurden einzelne Bilder (signiert R.E./83) verkauft. Ein vollständiges Portfolio liegt jedoch noch beim Künstler.
